Simon Rosser studied law at North London University and The College of Law, in Chester. He now works as a personal injury lawyer in Cardiff. Interests include geography, astronomy, travel, and writing. He was inspired to write his book after watching Al Gore's documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, in November 2006.
The purpose of writing the book was to try and simplify and clarify the complex subject
of global warming in an attempt to bring the subject to as wide an audience as possible,
to raise understanding on the subject and to raise money for climate-change related
charities. All information in the book is based on the latest scientific understanding
of the subject sourced from multiple scientific papers and information. As a solicitor
one legal skill required is an ability to sift through vast amounts of paperwork
and information in order to extract the most important, salient points. This skill
has proved invaluable to the author in putting this A-Z guide together from the vast
amounts of information and data out there on the subject of global warming.
